Migraine Sufferers Know
A recent study of women with episodic migraine treated with comprehensive chiropractic care highlights the benefits of the chiropractor-patient relationship for positive clinical outcomes. The women reported that they were (1) more aware of how musculoskeletal pain, tension and posture triggered migraine, (2) changed their view of chiropractic as ‘just’ spinal manipulation, and (3) found the chiropractor-patient relationship to be essential and valuable in handling their migraines effectively. (1) That’s chiropractic’s strong suit! Chiropractors take the time to clearly explain the painful conditions to our patients. We want to be sure our patients understand what is going on to optimize their participation in its relieving care. The best clinical outcomes result from a great partnership of in-officecare and at-home care, of chiropractor treatment and communication skill and patient participation and cooperation. Whether migraines are your issue or back pain or neck pain or arm pain or sciatic leg pain is, we are your healthcare partner to help manage the pain.

TIP OF THE MONTH:
Take a Multivitamin to Reduce Fragility Hip Fracture Risk
Hip fractures are a serious issue for healthcare systems and their patients around the world. A meta-analysis of over 80,000 subjects – 79% female, average age 69 years old – reported that multivitamin use was significantly associated with lower risk of suffering a fragility hip fracture. Multivitamin use was significantly protective against osteoporotic hip fracture. (2) This is great news as combined multivitamins are widely used over single vitamins. Reducing hip fracture risk may be decreased by taking a multivitamin supplement each day!
We appreciate your confidence in our chiropractic care! See you soon!
